WKPP Power System Study Comprehensive review of WKPP Power Stations and undertaking Load Flow, Short Circuit Fault, Protection Settings and Arc Flash studies. Review to evaluate existing equipment and their suitability should faults occur. Review of existing protection settings and confirmation of protection device coordination to adequately protect electrical equipment. Evaluation of arc flash incident energy at each power station. Arc Flash evaluation resulted in Risk Assessments to review existing controls in place and additional controls to eliminate or mitigate the risk of arc flash. Arc Flash labels were made as outcome of study and risk assessment.

Assisted in the document submission the PWC for the Jabiru Cutover.Project Electrical Engineer for the WKPP BESS Project - Electrical Design and CommissioningReviewed the existing design at WKPP Power Stations to determine the necessary changes required with the addition of the BESS units. Review of the existing earth grid at Broome, Fitzroy Crossing and Halls Creek Power Stations to determine that with the addition of the BESS units that the earth grid would protect the units from Earth Potential, Step and Touch Potential. This was by using SKM GroundMat to model the power stations and confirm that the buried earth grid would protect any site operators from an earth fault.Reviewing and modifying the existing Protection Relay settings at Broome, Fitzroy Crossing and Halls Creek Power Stations such that they would protect the BESS units. This involved modelling the power station using SKM PTW and analysing TCC graphs for protection relay curves to confirm that the electrical equipment is accurately protected.Hill 50 Metering UpgradeManaged and lead the upgrade of meters at Hill 50 Power Station. This was done by creating the settings files for the new SEL-735 meters, going to contractors for quote and then managing the process with said contractors with marked up schematics and. I had to develop an ITP for the contractors to follow to ensure a smooth installation of the meters. Once the meters were installed and settings installed, the metering data has to be reviewed to ensure it was measuring correctly.

Involved calculating equipment loads on the 415Vac distribution board and the required power supply. Additional review of single line diagrams and updating the single line for the addition of battery chargers. Tamala Park Power Station and Red Hill Power Station I/O ListsDownloaded from site PLC I/O for Tamala Park Power Station and Red Hill Power Station and documented them for future reference.Tamala Park Power Station SITEC Module Settings Review.Involved downloading and analysing the "as found" settings on the SITEC module which are used to govern and control the generators at Tamala Park Power Station. The setting for each generator were then analysed and compared against each other and the factory settings. This was done to streamline the SITEC settings for site operators and give a baseline standard for how the generators were to be controlled.
