Responsible for the day-to-day running and future proofing of the Mission Planning Support Environment (MPSE) for the UK’s fleet of cutting-edge F-35 (Lightning) Fighter Jets. Managing a team of 20 people to mission plan, mission data manage, schedule and maintain IT infrastructure, crypto, software upgrades and data exploitation. This includes embedding new products within the Mission Planning Support Environment. At all times maintaining operational capability of this function within squadrons and compliance with complex security requirements for both information and physical security.● Manage key projects within Mission Support, with a particular focus on the CI of Mission and Theatre planning, ensuring the team meets the overall project output, meeting quality and time constraints.● Project Lead for all Mission planning software upgrades, conducting testing and trials to ensure validity of upgrades, liaising with key internal and external global suppliers.● Managed the roll-out of the Mission Support function, from the introduction of F-35 to the UK to its current state across 3 squadrons and multiple successful operational deployments. Being awarded for my commitment, professionalism, and effort in the 2022 Military New Years Honours List. ● Commended for my communication whilst engaging with Executive Management; regularly reporting on the operational capability of the data management function within Mission Support.● Liaising between Executive Management and external contracted agencies to conduct reviews and assessments to maximise the capability of the Mission Support function within UK Defence.

As the Air Department Co-Ordinator I was responsible for :1. Facilities Management of the Air Traffic Control Tower ensuring that all services and capabilities remained available for use and any defects are reported to the contractors and command to understand all risks and timescales for recovery.2. All Health, Safety and Environmental audits were carried out and reports and concerns raised to Department Head and HSE team.3. Represent the Air Department at Station meetings and liaise with all section coordinator's to ensure any workforce requests were fulfilled equitably.4. Conduct regular inspections with Air Department Head of Station Infrastructure recording and reporting all findings.5. Act as Divisional Officer to a team of 8 individuals in the Visiting Aircraft Section providing all pastoral needs aswell as appraisal writing and coaching a mentoring.
