As Chief Marketing Officer at HoganTaylor, one of the largest business advisory and public accounting firms in Oklahoma and Arkansas, I have the good fortune of working alongside many talented professionals, each with their own unique and compelling stories.It’s rewarding work because the HoganTaylor professionals I serve always seek to add value and make a difference in the lives of their clients. In turn, our clients do excellent work and help make our business and nonprofit communities the vibrant centers they are today. It’s my privilege to play a part in the process and the varied work keeps the job fun and interesting—in fact, I’m having a blast!Before joining HoganTaylor, I came to a career in marketing by way of journalism. It’s deep in my personality to look for answers and truly understand why things happen as they do, which is why I chose to study journalism at Oklahoma State University (OSU). My first job in marketing was as an intern in OSU’s communications department where I wrote articles and produced short videos highlighting students, faculty, and other goings on around campus. It was then that I realized storytelling, which fascinated me and drove me to journalism in the first place, is the heart and soul of good marketing, as well. Many years later, I still get to tell stories every day!Outside of the office, I am a passionate advocate for arts and education. One of my greatest professional joys is having the opportunity to lend my time and talent in support of these issues.
