Built strong key-client relationships and established trust associated with the ABB brand resulting in increased market share and brand recognition. Successfully drove strategic business unit (SBU) growth by working directly with project developers, financiers, engineering, procurement and construction firms (EPC’s) and utilities. Ensured ABB’s power conversion, transmission, distribution and SCADA solution meets or exceeds project interconnection and regulatory compliance. Developed and executed strategic sales initiatives focused on meeting corporate gross margin and detailed sales performance goals and metrics. Provided sales and marketing team with marketplace intelligence and insight into utility scale solar market, PV plant designs and knowledge of competitor’s products. Detailed design of utility scale solar power plants from 100kWp to 100MWp. PV site surveying and analysis. Design and installation of residential and commercial photovoltaic systems. Installation of off-grid PV systems and back up diesel generators. Lead installer crew member. Managed and performed the installation, testing, turn-up, and troubleshooting of a fiber-optic long haul and metro networking equipment (OC192, OC48). Duties included; the connection of backbone network to local metropolitan networks, system level attenuation testing, optical spectrum analysis, OTDR analysis, bay level testing, fiber-optic hot cuts of live traffic, end-to-end testing, and equipment upgrades. Other responsibilities included but were not limited to: contractor supervision, up to 95% travel, administrative duties, strong customer relations, workflow development, precise technical documentation, and project management documentation.

Critical Technologies was purchased by Williams Companies in 1997Installed and terminated data, voice, and fiber-optic local area network cabling to strict industry standards. Installed high voltage infrastructure builds for data centers and fiber-optic regeneration sites. Worked as a member of the IBEW Local #1.
