In this position, I worked extensively in the Eclipse IDE. I studied JSON and Apache Velocity, and wrote and presented detailed training documents for new hires on how to use JSON and Velocity. I also used them to write basic test code for accessing and configuring routers.

In this position, I used a number of different programs and applications to search for circuits in the network that CenturyLink no longer uses and document the circuit using Microsoft Excel. Circuits that are no longer being used but are still being paid for are disputed for credit on the circuit's bill. Successful disputes result in credit earned and refunds granted to CenturyLink.

In this position, I used a number of different programs to resolve congestion issues on the CenturyLink network. I used the Broadband Capacity (BBC) tool to connect broadband device interfaces from the BBC to MARTENS so that accurate traffic data would be displayed. In some instances, I also used the devices' DSLAM to find accurate information to update them with in the BBC tool. If I could not find accurate information through these methods, I used the WorkFlow Management Tool (WFMT) to network and find the information from others or assign them the task of updating the device. Changes were documented and charted in tables using Microsoft Excel, which were sent as weekly reports to my manager. In this position, my team and I connected and created reports on over 3000 ADTRAN, AFC, Lucent Stinger, and CALIX devices.
