Responsible for creating and sustaining the plan to grow FCA ministry in the Savannah area GA (Chatham, Effingham and Bryan Counties) through Board, Donor and Staff development. Responsible for working with staff and volunteers to fund and manage the finances of the ministry. Responsible for establishing an effective and diverse Leadership Board in accordance with FCA best practices and to ensure ongoing training and development for the Board, focusing on the Board Chairman.Responsible for being the chief resource raiser in the area establishing an annual donor ministry plan with a focus on developing and training staff in growing Home Teams, Events and Major Donors (Tom Landry Associates).Provide annual budget and financial management for the area in accordance with FCA policies.Ensure that FCA in the Savannah area is equipped to advance the ministry “to and through the coach” by growing huddles, events, training and resources.Oversee recruiting, hiring, training and retention of quality and diverse staff aligned with FCA’s ministry philosophy, “to and through the coach” for the Savannah area.Lead existing staff (two full time and two part-time) modeling the FCA core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, and serving.

Responsible for advancing all hospitality, bus and air travel for band and crew, hotels, volunteers and other day of show components for tours, one-off shows, and festival events.Responsible for coordinating with band management, music label, radio promoters, event and venue staff and day of show volunteers on a consistent basis to ensure the B429 was moving toward the desired goal for each event.Worked with B429 Production Manager to ensure a smooth show from load in to load out.Managed and led the B429 band and crew on all show and off dates while on the road.Responsible for operating within a set budget for all tours and show dates, keeping up with large amounts of cash on hand, receipts, making bank deposits and turning in road reports to band management and band business accountants.Responsible for setting daily schedules and event staff and volunteer call times.

Provided oversight of middle and high school students, as well as the adult leadership team.Assured that all students maintained a balanced program of spiritual, physical, and social growth.Fostered open communication with parents/guardians.Assured that every student activity focused entirely on building mature followers of Jesus.Made sure that the students were taught and charged with their responsibility to go and make disciples through intentional small groups and missional outreach.Made sure that there were appropriate training and regular involvement in church ministry opportunities.Provided formal (structured) and informal (by example) leadership training for the adult leadership team, as well as the student leadership team.Ensured a life-giving culture.Oversaw, with the adult leadership team, the identification of students with leadership potential and assured opportunities were given for development.Maintained a well-planned student ministry calendar that was pre-scheduled one year in advance and gave the opportunity for fellowship, worship, leadership development, service, and outreach.Maintained a well-balanced youth ministry budget and raised funds through different types of fundraising opportunities when needed.Preached during youth services and taught leadership-based discipleship classes weekly.Met with Sr. Pastor and other staff members on a weekly basis to plan and organize the events of the church.Was held accountable by the Sr. Pastor, church council and other pastors on staff.

Grew student ministry from eight middle and high school students to over 150 students in a 10-year period.Led teams of students on global mission trips to Peru, Chile, and Puerto Rico.Spoke at youth camps in Montana, North Dakota and Illinois where teams of students were involved in ministry at the camp.Oversaw over 20 students and 20 adult volunteers lead different teams each Wednesday night during our Wednesday night student services.Created and led a school of ministry focused on helping students develop leadership skills and walk in their God-given purpose.See JESUP CHURCH OF GOD description for a more detailed list of responsibilities.
