About Wesley H.

I am currently the Head of Trading and Operations at Arca Funds, with career expertise in strategy, technology, financial analysis, and capital markets. Formerly I was the Director of Trading Operations at The Crypto Company and CEO and Co-founder of ShadowBid. I was also previously a FINRA licensed Equity Trader and Market-Maker at BMA Securities and a film and television cinematographer and producer. At The Crypto Company I managed a team of prop traders in the cryptocurrency markets, actively traded a portfolio of crypto assets, worked alongside the portfolio and ICO investment team to execute trades, and collaborated with our development team to built out some of the future product launches for the company. As CEO of ShadowBid, I managed all aspects of the business including product and corporate strategy, capital raising, financial analysis, management of development teams, and customer acquisition. At BMA Securities, along with managing a prop trading book, I also created the strategy and managed the formation of a hedge fund launched under the firm’s RIA division. During my time in film and television I created shows with award winning teams for major networks and co-produced a film on the life of Genghis Khan. I earned my MBA from the University of Southern California where I graduated with honors and co-managed a portion of the school endowment as a member of the Student Investment Fund. I earned my undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston College.
