Serving as Shop Foreman for Sunbelt Rentals' Temporary Fencing Division’s (formerly Modu-Loc Fence Rentals) new location servicing the Vancouver Island. Tasked with establishing the Temporary Fence Rental Division's presence in new markets across Vancouver Island and forging strong, new relationships within relevant industries. This role also includes overseeing day-to-day operations, providing accurate quotes and sales services to current and prospective customers, maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders, managing a team of workers, job and worker scheduling, equipment maintenance scheduling, inventory tracking, product and supply ordering, and more.This position has also required and will continue to require adaptability to frequent changes as we continue transition from Modu-Loc Fence Rentals to Sunbelt Rentals. Examples include, but are not limited to new software, different sales practices, additional and/or changing safety regulations, etc.

As a self-employed, part time painter, main duties include networking, sales calls and meetings, providing clients with quotes, order placing, scheduling,employing sub-contractors as required, basic accounting, and completing all deliverables by or before agreed upon deadlines, all while providing excellent customer service.

This job includes managing a group of workers while coordinating with customers to ensure that customer needs and expectations are met. I’ve also been trusted to train numerous new employees, have represented the company at various events, and have appeared in multiple promotional videos for the company.

As the Director of Charitable Events at UBCO (under the Management Student Association), I was in charge of organizing various charitable events throughout the school year. This included networking, scheduling, managing budgets, managing people, finding sponsors, landing venues, advertising the events, and more.

As a member of the UBCO Operations Management team, I represented our university by competing at the annual JDC event. During the year leading up to the event, our team of three people practiced breaking down cases and presenting our findings to live audiences of varying sizes and panels of judges once or twice per week. At the event itself, we were required to break down an operations management case in three hours without access to wifi or other externa aids. We then gave a 20 minute presentation to a panel of judges and about 120 audience members. We did quite well and impressed the judges.

Hayden Painting Solutions has consistently been a leader in the painting services industry. As a company, we tackled jobs of various sizes including full apartment buildings and small homes. Our crew maintained an impeccable quality of work while remaining efficiency. This job required high attention to detail at all times and effective communication with co-workers and customers.
