My name is Wesley Long. I am 45 years of age and have been a professional Graphic Designer for more than 26 years. I have been designing and programming websites/applications for more than 17 of those 28 years. For the last 6 years I have been designing and developing microcontrollers for the IoT space. (Internet of Things). I tend to have a unique way of looking at things and am extremely passionate about solving hard problems. I am always looking for ways to improve or to find efficiencies. I am highly informed, I am constantly researching and learning to keep up with the rapid growth of technology. This combined with my skills as a designer and developer provide a unique advantage. It allows me from the ground up to both design and develop a cohesive solutions across the board, which is a tremendous cost saver for any project. I am deeply committed to my work and research. Lead Designer & DeveloperCarevia Sep 2013 - Sep 2014Greater Chicago AreaI was the lead designer and developer for CareVia, a real-time remote patient monitoring system. CareVia incorporated CarrotSync technology as well as supported Bluetooth medical devices which would transmit readings wirelessly to an android application, which would in turn sync that data with the cloud and allow doctors and providers to view these readings from any location in the world.I was one of two developers working on the project.
