In the recent years in my Digital Communications Officer role I have been working on a variety of topics: - Website building- Building articles in CRM- CRM maintenance- Building newsletters (MailChimp)- Working closely with developers to enhance UI/UX experiences for many projects I have been working forHowever, this role includes also different aspects of working at FIFPRO. Our 65+ member unions are a vital part of the daily business, where I have close contact with the member unions to identify opportunities for both parties. The main objective of having contact with the member unions is to facilitate them in their needs and assist where I can. There is also a lot of room for own ideas and initiatives to reach that objective.

In this role my main objective was to organise the FIFPRO Men's and Women's World 11. During this time the vote was conducted manually by hand and on paper. The reasoning because the main focus was getting the member unions into the dressing rooms of the players and to speak to their players about the issues in their country.Also, I have contributed to the organising part of women's football within FIFPRO and across stakeholders, I was also part of the Technical Committee, where trends and innovations within football were discussed. All the work done in this role was focused on player's health and safety, where I was assisting the specialists in this area with my daily business.One of the bigger projects besides the above mentioned is also our MDAS project, where I have been analysing the membership of the unions, which is vital for the organisation(s). The MDAS gives us a proper view of how the unions are working and it helps us to identify chances where we can assist our members in their work. This will enhance the quality of work conditions for the players on a national and international level in the long term.

During my graduation internship I was actively working in the organisation at the events team. This made sure I was closely to big events such as home games for the Dutch national team, men's and women's and youth teams. A unique experience, where I could combine my studies writing a thesis for the Dutch Super Cup (Johan Cruijff Schaal). The question that would need answering was how the Dutch FA (KNVB) was able to create a cost neutral event, as the JCS was an event that was not sustainable financially. This resulted into a marketincommunications plan on how to elevate the product and attract sponsorships to get to the break-even point.
