My practice is devoted to representing employers, insurers, and their third-party administrators in workers' compensation claims throughout the State of Georgia. I regularly defend claims at trials before the State Board of Workers' Compensation and also handle the entire appellate process that follows thereafter. My experience involves working with a wide array of clientele of various sizes who operate in numerous sectors throughout Georgia, including the transportation, landscaping, manufacturing, staffing, and hospitality industries.I have successfully defended and prosecuted claims before the State Board of Workers' Compensation, Appellate Division, and Superior Courts involving issues such as: all-issues controverted claims (no accident arising out of or in the course of employment), idiopathic injuries, willful misconduct, entitlement to indemnity benefits, repayment of TTD benefits received while working, changes in condition, aggravations of preexisting conditions, recommendations of unrelated and unnecessary medical procedures, subsequent intervening accidents, requests for changes of physician, panel validity and employer's obligations under 201, and more.
