Auburn University Alumnus (c/o 2021) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in business. I work for Neptune Technology Group in the field of mechanical engineering with a primary focus on mechanical design, thermal/fluid analysis, and failure analysis. I have conducted root-cause failure analysis for the majority of my career on mechanical and electrical systems and have designed and implemented numerous validation and reliability test plans for both new and existing product lines.I’ve worked in this industry for a total of 3 years and during that time have worked on a variety of projects; some strictly mechanical and some hybrid projects with other fields including electrical, firmware/software, and RF engineering. I have also assisted in technology development projects for mechanical and electrical products.Some skills I have developed outside of my field of study include ISO internal audit training, lean manufacturing training, health and safety training, and a large amount of experience with certification testing. When I’m not working I enjoy a plethora of hobbies and activities. Some of these include golfing, fishing, reading, woodworking, studying ancient and American history, and watching and attending sporting events. I’m a huge Alabama football fan (I know, I know) as well as a fan of almost all SEC schools and also a baseball fan (Boston Red Sox & Atlanta Braves).
