From Antwerp Belgium, educated as a linguist, always worked in the fashion industry during my academic track. After working for various smaller brands, I started working at the Paris fashion house Damir Doma as a sales representative for the main-line and Silent and Côte&Ciel. In 2010, Bergen based label Norwegian Rain became my main focus as a consultant and agent, later as commercial director. In the meantime i opened Heartbreak Management, a leading agency for fashion models in the heart of Copenhagen, where I was founder and director of the Danish branch with head office in Copenhagen. With 15+ years of experience in creative consulting, wholesale, retail, and brand management, I have acquired to build an extensive active network of professionals in the high-end and luxury fashion, design and art-markets. Adept in assessing and understanding a brand’s or client’s unique needs, and able to create market-specific strategies I am highly skilled in languages and (intercultural) communication, out-of-the-box problem solving, and able to negotiate the right deal. Having managed and coached several teams and employees, I consider myself a good motivator, as well as a clear communicator to other teams within an organisation.
