Everybody likes attacking difficult problems, and in that respect I'm no different. I enjoy the cycle of playing with data, making hypotheses, and writing software to test those ideas to generate new, more refined ones. It's important to me to invest not only into 'how' but also 'what' and 'why'.I often find myself in niches as an engineering team's quant or as a data science team's engineer. I act as a project manager when a project needs that help. I like interdisciplinary roles, and I think they tend to be the sort of place I provide unique value.I enjoy writing code, but like writing text even more. I'm happiest when I collaborate with clients and with owners of business functions to build the right solution for them.
