Wes McClelland is an expert in federal public policy. Franklin Square Group is well-respected as one of the top tech policy firms in the country.Over nearly 20 years as a senior policy advisor for the U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader and as a Vice President of Federal Affairs for a leading financial services trade association, Wes developed knowledge and experience creating legislative, regulatory, and political strategies to identify both risks and opportunities for organizations to affect beneficial change. Wes is also the co-owner of Flying R Farms, a family farm and ranch in Rossville, Kansas that has been in Wes's family for over 150 years. Flying R Farms produces crops including corn and soybeans, and also has a cow-calf operation breeding and raising best-of-breed registered polled hereford cattle. Wes holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Electrical engineering from Duke University and a Masters of Economics from the University of Kansas. Wes splits his time between San Diego, California, Washington, DC, and Rossville, Kansas.
