I have recently started in a new role as a Quality Technician at ZoomEssence, a relatively new player in the food and beverage space creating flavor powders utilizing patented technology that retains a higher yield of active compounds relative to the rest of the industry. I make every effort to ensure that our customers receive only the highest quality product tailored to their needs.I previously worked for Boston Beer Co. at the Cincinnati Brewery supervising a team of Brewers and Blend Technicians making the finest Beer and Beyond Beer products for the leading craft brewery in the US. I also have three years of experience as a Territory Representative at Ecolab Food Safety Specialties, where I provided food safety and sanitation solutions to food and beverage manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Cryptologic Linguistics certificate from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. I have developed strong skills in communication, computer literacy, and team leadership, as well as brewing, food safety, and auditing. I am passionate about applying my scientific knowledge and my management skills to create value and impact in the food and beverage industry.
