Responsible for the development and execution to develop Star of Hope's Planned Giving program through established and new donor relationships.

Serve Houston’s homeless community by raising financial support from major givers that include individuals, churches, foundations and corporations. This role is intersecting a great Christian cause with those who are compassionate and concerned about meeting the needs of homeless men, women, and their children.

Work with a wonderful group of donors and ministry partners who are passionate to see Christ's offer of "life in all its fullness" realized by 10 million children in the next 5 years as well as impacting 100 million children in 10 years.

Work with Funds Development Ministry and Program Leadership Teams to enhance the Presbyterian World Mission program areas and relate to constituents to engage them in the ministry of Presbyterian World Mission. Execute major gift fundraising and secure funds from donors with best practices in mind to upgrade giving and involvement to support the overall goals of the ministry.

• Primarily responsible to develop relationships with high capacity donors (annual giving: $10,000 to $100,000) resulting in donor transformation and significant financial support of the ministry organization. These relationships gave $364,800 in the last 4 months of 2008 when I began to work with them directly.• Identified and initiated new relationships through current donors, events, and organizational marketing• Developed long-range and short-range plans for donor communication and interaction• Recruited and developed a team of 6 development representatives responsible for working with small to medium range donors (annual giving: $2500 to $10,000). This team raised more than 2 million dollars in 2008.

Consulted with 300 churches to see that pledges made were fulfilled through communication strategies, financial analysis, and customized methods of motivation. The final group of churches (18) I worked with raised over a total of 33 million dollars.

Capital campaign management for nonprofit organizations. Directed four campaigns which raised a total of 3.4 million dollars. This work included solicitation of approximately 100 individuals and the recruitment and training of 90 volunteers. Conducted feasibility studies for 60 nonprofit organizations and 80 churches. Foundation reasearch and solicitation.
