After working on Wall Street serving large institutional clients, I set out to pursue my childhood dream career of managing investments and advising families on building their wealth. After being raised by a single mom, really learning how essential money is to a family, I decided that Wall Street, despite its glamorous lifestyle and appeal, it wasn’t the path for me. Working for big banks has its benefits… but I was only 95% happy. It was only possible to fulfill that last 5% by pursuing the dream I had as a kid – teaching and coaching people on investing. It was a bit of a risk leaving New York (sometimes you have to sacrifice the good for the great), and some friends and family thought I was crazy, but I took the leap and trusted everything would work out. Long story short, fast forward 12 years, and I am grateful to say my partners and I now manage roughly $450M. We focus on investing for medium sized business owners (401k plans, profit-sharing plans, etc.) and executives. I love teaching and I am blessed to be able to do that every day!
