As owner of WH Headways I am able to make my passion my job. I have developed my own company with a single mission: Engaging and connecting young, qualified skippers to deliver yachts throughout Northern and Western Europe.Besides this, I am a 4th-year bachelor industrial engineering and management student at Avans university of applied science, for which I expect to graduate in the summer of 2025. I also am chairman of student association ‘Cartouche’.During this study I was given the opportunity to develop my skills in managing teams, being curious at a professional level, testing scientific models in practice and implementing process optimizations. I have also taken an AutoCAD drawing course offered by CAD&Company which gave me a better understanding of designing processes. In addition, I have had multiple other work experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. I have worked as a team manager at Jumbo supermarkets for almost 2 years. My main responsibilitys were: managing the work shift, coordinating the application process and setting KPI targets. When I moved to annother city because of my studies, I started working as a floormanager at P79. A nightclub in Den Bosch where I became responsible for controllong the cashflow and managing the operating employees.Besides my work experience, I was also active as a board member of the study association SV Optimum in my 2nd-year of my bachelor. This is where I developed a lot cemptences such as leading gatherings, event management and being the main face of a large group of people.
