Wes Shaver is the President & CEO of Milwaukee Pride, the parent organization for theinternationally known Milwaukee festival, “Pridefest,” which serves 46,000+ attendees annually.Since taking the role of President in 2017, he has led the organization to its highest annual grossrevenue while increasing festival vendors, entertainment, and activation opportunities. Since then,PrideFest has reinvested over $100,000 into its local LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, starting in 2008, he has been an active member of Milwaukee's hospitality & event industries in roles ranging from Director of Marketing and Sales to Owner-Operator, and currently serving as a consultant to an exclusive group of locally owned Wisconsin enterprises. Wes continues to work with some of Wisconsin's most well known brands ranging from fine dining to professional sport properties. Wes earned his degrees at Cardinal Stritch University holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theaterand a Master’s Degree in Sport & Entertainment Management with a focus in end-gameentertainment and hospitality management.
