Started on new Traffic and Billing program in C#.NET over MS SQL Server to replace aging legacy VB6.0 system over Access. C# is awesome. .NET not quite as awesome. SQL Server is extremely responsive and highly optimized over network connections. I'll test scalability as well but I'm sure it's going to test well against anything that Access can do. Some library functions done and the .NET framework while initially unwieldy, is highly robust and CRL is bullet proofAlso continuing development with accounting and billing in a Windows 7 environment. Made the legacy VB6 application work with Windows 7 & 8 where it was previously incompatible. Perform whitebox testing for upgraded modules. Upgrades include removing many instances of Sheridan data and calendar widgets and replaced them with generic (supportable) controls. Added new classes to implement pdf file output, md5 hashes, spreadsheet integration and EDI xml file creation for AAAA Broadcast Electronic Invoicing (similar to X12-835)

Served as Director for the IT Services division of T1-Technologies in Council Bluffs, IA.Created Remote Managed IT Systems, Author of managed systems contract. Created Multi-OS Network (Linux, MacOS, Windows) for in-house use. Also consulted and installed small business networks.

Support multiple business units and the Synergy product by writing new programmer tools and upgrades. Development was primarily in VB6.0 over ORACLE 10i.Developed Automation Loading (ETL) for client control of company data in a Microsoft XP environment. The VB6 application program manipulates data through PL/SQL over Various ORACLE databases. Enhanced and expanded existing programs to increase functionality and speed of bringing clients on-line. Diversified my language knowledge by working with C# between projects.

Produced the comprehensive "Shred" application in VB6.0 over SQL Server 2005."Shred" was a Cheese shredding program for food production. I initially wrote this in VB6.0 then converted it to vb.net 2005 to make it more maintainable.
