William “Wes” Simmons is a proven business leader possessing significant broad experience managing diverse personnel in single and multi-unit environments. He is currently seeking a new challenge, and while doing so, continues working as Owner/General Manager of School of Rock Oviedo. Prior (and at times during) this role, he worked as Operations Manager for Outsource Equipment Company, an independent management consultant, and spent 19 years at Vulcan Materials Company & Florida Rock Industries.After 8 months of consulting with Outsource Equipment focusing on the selection and implementation of a company-wide ERP system and other tasks, Wes accepted a full time position with the company in May 2015. He led a team of technicians through various projects, installations, service agreements, and a variety of other challenges.Beginning October 2011, Wes brought a proven, national education concept to the greater Orlando Area: School of Rock. This opportunity afforded Wes the chance to make a positive impact in the local community and reconnect with his love of music.Also during this time, Wes lent his abilities to multiple businesses through William Simmons Management Consulting. As its principal, Wes had the opportunity to work with several business startups and perform operations/sales analysis for a significant regional retailer. Wes provided guidance and tangible, targeted operational and marketing tools for these customers.Between 2003 and 2010, Wes held several management roles within Vulcan Materials Company and Florida Rock Industries. Up to 30 unique manufacturing & support facilities, and 225 employees, were led through wildly varying economic conditions.
