From a young age, I have taken on many responsibilities, shaping a strong work ethic and adaptability. As a mini-soccer referee at 14, I handled passionate coaches and irate parents as well as being responsible for the safety and enjoyment of the players on the pitch. I learnt to keep calm under pressure and how to defuse difficult situations. Knowing I could deal with these situations gave me a confidence that I took into other roles. I then became a gymnastics coach and was able to develop in this role from a recreational to a squad coach. Roles including GCSE math tutor, cinema team member, and Co-op employee, allowed me to develop diverse skills, including technology use, quick decision-making, and customer service.These roles not only provided valuable experience but also funded my journey to Borneo with World Challenge. Leading a team in ecological projects, I was recognized as 'Queen of the Jungle' for leadership. This experience ignited my love for travel.My other passion is sports, particularly football. Playing for my university's team, I served as captain in my final year, managing the team, maintaining morale, and being a leader and role model. Engaging in football-related activities, such as disability sessions and organisational events, enhanced my teamwork, professionalism, and time management skills.I graduated from the University of Exeter with BSc undergraduate degree in Human Biosciences, refining organisational and writing skills and gaining expertise in biosciences and sports science. My enthusiasm for these fields has only deepened, and I aspire to integrate them into my professional life.
