Midrange Dynamics North America brings global IBM i solutions to the US marketplace. As the North America reseller for Midrange Dynamics’s software change management products, they provide sales, technical support, product implementation, and training.I joined this dynamic team in 2013 as CTO. This role has allowed me to utilize the skills that I have acquired over the past 30 years to build the technical arm of the organization.Current accomplishments within MD-NA include creating a customer service organization that provides: • Consultants for change management implementation support and training • Formalized pre-sales technical activities • Requirements and enhancement suggestions for Midrange Dynamics products • A strong technical relationship with Midrange Dynamics • The ability to work with other vendors to offer end-to-end modernization solutions for our customers • Assistance to prospects, including Proofs of Concept, during the evaluation stageAnd absolutely the most fun I have in this role is attending numerous technical conferences and connecting directly with our IBM i community.

As part of the Professional Services team I have provided training and implementation support for the Aldon Brand for 4+ years including LMi (aka ACMS) and Community Manager (based on BMC’s FootPrints).

My consulting engagement’s primary focus was on IBM IBM i (iSeries) software change management. This engagement included the multiple projects over a 5 year period that included building a framework for testing and implementation of application software across the enterprise. These projects included designing the software change lifecycle for 100+ developers over 150+ systems across the US including 70+ test systems. Have worked with TurnOver since the product was originally introduced and began training for SLS in 1992. In 1993-1995 I worked for SLS in New Hampshire as training manager. Returned to Houston area and consulting in 1995 but continued to train for SLS until 2007. I still provide training and consulting for SLS tools but am no longer affiliated with the company since the buyout.

Responsible for revamping their change management processes and expanding their use of the TurnOver product. Was responsible for developing their iSeries operations processes and procedures. Functioned as a project lead and developer for a major application project that required analysis and changes to a majority of the application.

Chief architect on a document management application that was later sold to a software vendor.
