I am currently employed as the Crop Production Manager on my family’s 1,400 acre farm operation, Sandy Ridge Farms, Inc. I have worked here full-time since graduating college in May of 2011. We grow a variety of crops including- corn, cotton, peanuts, soybeans, wheat, and we also have a small herd of black angus cattle. My responsibilities on the farm.

I attend the quarterly meetings of the board as well as have the opportunity to participate in various other activities throughout the year. I was appointed to this position by the USDA Secretary of Agriculture, following a recommendation from the members of the Virginia.
