I work closely with our US investments to identify growth opportunities and lead many of our startup engagements in my role as Product Design Director.

Foremost working with technology startups to solve design and product challenges. I also worked with VCs such as Balderton Capital in London to validate investment opportunities from a product perspective and lectured on the future of design systems at NYU ITP in New York.

A one million people strong DIY community for makers sharing projects using their mobile device. I created the initial product concept and co-led continuous agile product development with a super talented product team of 8 designers and engineers.We successfully raised funding from top-tier VCs including Daniel Waterhouse (Wellington Partners), Peter Read (Google Ventures), and Mr. Li Ka-shing (Horizon Ventures), and built an advisory board with Charles Adler (co-founder at Kickstarter).

I led various growth initiatives directed by CEO Alex Ljung, to increase user uploads and community engagement. For example, we created a repeatable product format to scale community-led remix competitions that dramatically increased the number of competitions on SoundCloud. I also led the creative commons licensing initiative and bulk harvested audio samples to create the world’s largest free-to-use audio sample library.
