Promoted to take on extra responsibilities for import sales and exporting our wines internationally, while maintaining a full sales territory.

Responsible for the Metro Vancouver South territory; stretching from downtown, south to Steveston and east to Coquitlam.In early 2017, Okanagan Crush Pad created a sales agency, HQ Wine + Spirits, using our existing sales team to represent imported wines from small, quality-focused producers.Duties include: sales data analysis & reporting for management & ownership, designing & editing print materials, input on label design & branding decisions, travelling internationally to represent our wines and to find wines for importing.

Invited to start a seasonal job running the wine shop through the summer of 2013. I built such a successful visitor experience that I was hired full time at the end of that summer to continue expanding the hospitality program for our Haywire & Narrative wines.I expanded the wine shop from an office room with one large table to a complete Tasting Lounge with two full-length tasting bars and patio. Key to this expansion was the introduction of vineyard & cellar tours as a regular part of a tasting, and a calendar of events which includes a successful and popular summer music series.Duties included: hosting VIP guests at the winery and for dinner, pouring and talking about our wines at trade and consumer shows, harvest admin in the off-season, monthly Excise Canada reporting, VQA tasting panel submissions, registering products with our warehouse, managing and tracking inventory of stock at the winery and our off-site warehouse, applications to extend our winery license, designing print materials, sales data reporting & analysis for management & ownership, website design & maintenance.By the spring of 2016 I had taken over responsibility as our Sales Rep in the Okanagan Valley.

Worked full time harvest 2012, responsible for recording Brix and temperature of ferments, maintaining/controlling temperature of ferments. Included standard duties of grape sorting, punch-downs, pump-overs, delestage. Part-time bottling duties into June.

Hired by Christa-Lee McWatters-Bond to work at her restaurant & liquor store in Okanagan wine country. With a wine list made of exclusively BC VQA wines, I received an expansive and in-depth grounding in the BC wine scene. In the liquor store I gained valuable market and liquor sales experience.

Joined as Graduate Trainee, learnt all areas of the business, coming to focus on a sales and marketing role. Skills in data analysis & reporting, customer service, product selection, inventory management, website design and maintenance, marketing & advertising, including direct-to-consumer, Google PPC and organic search. Moved up to Yorkshire when the company was bought out.
