As a continuation of my Spring 2016 Praxis course, I participated in the TreeXOffice design build to obtain internship credit. The TreeXOffice was built in partnership with the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art as a piece of an Environmental art series. I aided in design and construction of the final piece by creating Rhino models and drawings, fabricating a set of custom, collaborative furniture, and assembling the wall screen and decking cartridges.

I worked with CU faculty and another Environmental Design student to conduct research and create written academic reports and visual representations of our findings. The research project explored the relationship between humans and dogs, and how this relationship may inform the design of inhabitable spaces. The second element of this research included a study of gabion structures and tectonics.
