- Worked highly independently to design optimal methods of handling and installing multilayer insulation on a large cryogenic fuel tank. The insight gained and reported to NASA engineers and mentors was intended for the design of the replacement blanket for the Multipurpose Hydrogen Test Bed, housed at Marshall Space Flight Center.- Performed extensive research on multilayer insulation to determine methods of maximum radiation shielding and accompanying construction methods. Historical and contemporary data was compiled for reporting. Successful methods were analyzed and cross-compared and many were integrated into sample fabrication articles.
