As the Fabrication Lead, I spearheaded the construction of two significant projects: the Flight Path Lounge for Kansas State Salina Polytechnic Campus and a conference table for McCain Auditorium.For the Flight Path Lounge project, I took charge of organizing meetings, coordinating construction timelines, and overseeing the fabrication of parametric design and built-in furniture elements. This involved meticulous attention to detail and collaboration with the facilities team to ensure the seamless execution of the design vision. I personally oversaw the installation of the project on-site, ensuring that every aspect of the design was implemented according to plan.Similarly, for the McCain Auditorium conference table, my responsibilities included completing intricate detail work, refining joints, and preparing wood surfaces for finishing. I applied finishes to both wood and metal components, including creating and finishing metal inserts for the table. Finally, I managed the transportation and assembly of the table on-site, ensuring that it was installed to the highest standards of craftsmanship.In both projects, my role as Fabrication Lead required a combination of technical skill, project management acumen, and attention to detail.
