My Air Force Career: My journey started at the recruiter joining the United States Air Force. My job as AGE (Aerospace Ground Equipment) is where I turned wrenches on aircraft support equipment. I learned to break some things and fix those broken things, learning that fixing what is broken is an essential life skill. You also learn quickly that knowing how to work on your own car and enjoying working on your own car can be mutually exclusive.My Education: I loved the idea of engineering. Engineering and the math did not love me. My short engineering study quickly morphed into marketing. I realized I understand people more than I understand the development of systems. And the math.My Sales Career: I got a marketing job for a display manufacturer and instantly gravitated to the technology and research; submersing myself in the how and why. The dark side of sales came calling and I answered it. It became a culmination of fixing what is broken, using my education, honing my technological knowledge, and most importantly, helping others. I also get to work with engineers so a little is full circle.When I am not immersed in the electronic hardware space, I am enjoying life with my wife and two dogs. If you don’t find us cruising in the jeep or swimming at the lake, we are most likely traveling somewhere. My wife and I have also spent the last 8 years remodeling our home, one room at a time. Almost there.
