My scientific career has crafted me into a versatile and innovative medical science professional with diversified experience in product management, marketing, medical device R&D, data science, and medical research. I've had fulfilling and unique experiences conducting and analyzing data from global clinical trials and building enduring relationships with world-leading medical professionals. To date I have published 7 scientific articles in vision science with 212 citations.In my current role as an Associate Scientific Director, I work directly with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists as a scientific resource for presentations, clinical trials, and Investigator Initiated Studies. Together we review and advance the latest scientific research in eye care, developing treatments and therapies for glaucoma, dry eye disease, presbyopia, and other vision disorders. Bringing together patients, physicians, and influential corporations is deeply rewarding and I'm fortunate to have had such unique opportunities to work at the cutting edge of Vision Science.Outside of my career I enjoy outdoor sports, real estate investment, and analyzing stock price trends using technical analysis tools developed in Python and Matlab. When I'm not at work I'm most likely to be found at the gym or working toward reducing my 5k time on some country roads or mountain trails. I'm a firm believer in the well-documented health benefits of rigorous exercise and the impact that having a healthy active lifestyle can have on cognitive performance and overall happiness.
