- Monitoring critical systems and providing technical support in a NOC environment.- Implementing all production changes in a critical infrastructure.- Serve as Tier II escalation point for help desk.- Assist with hardware and infrastructure upgrades, repairs and improvements on all test and production servers.- Provide technical support, software and system configuration, testing and implementations.- Engage in multiple projects through all life-cycle phases in accordance with established procedures and standards.- Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate and de-bug software problems and perform problem resolution and root cause analysis.- Thorough knowledge of technical disciplines required to support mission-critical Windows/Unix data center at the enterprise level.- Basic knowledge of internal and external disk, hardware connectivity, disk arrays, tape drives, hardware shutdown and boot-up procedures.- Knowledge of performance monitors and debugger tools.

•Provide Tier 3 support for Travelocity Database/Application servers. Interaction with Tier 2 help desk, Application Coverage, and Developers across 3 different shifts in a NOC environment.•Real time monitoring and support of 1000+ Red Hat Linux servers configured as application and supporting database servers, 15 HP NSK nodes, and 7+ Sun Solaris servers spanning 4 different but dependent environments.•Implement baseline packages and other application, OS and software upgrades.•Validate and troubleshoot new software updates, on the fly code correction.•Assist with hardware and infrastructure improvements, upgrades and repairs on all Unix/Linux servers.•Validate new applications on test and production environments.•General server configuration and maintenance. Set new application parameters on Linux, NSK, and Solaris servers. •Engage application developers, engineers and colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve critical outage situations and track problem resolutions.

•Computer Operator for Mainframe Reservation and Flight Operating Systems.•Maintain system integrity by performing hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled activities on 12 Reservation, 8 Pricing, and 2 Flight Operating TPF mainframe systems and associated Test Systems.•Work with Mainframe hardware including IBM, Hitachi, and Amdahl.•Perform scheduled OS, application and hardware upgrades on all mainframes.•Provide 1st level internal support, and 2nd level external support for problem reporting, tracking and troubleshooting issues.•Stabilize system during critical outage situations and track problem resolutions.•Maintain process documentation of all related responsibilities and processes.
