Responsible for designing and deploying VMware Infrastructure 3 for both our clients and our internal managed services division. Worked on Active Directory design and deployment. Performed work for a large scale customer to migrate 30 Novell servers that were spread across the state of Indiana to an Active Directory Domain at the central location. Designed and deployed Datacenter layout for a large scale customer including the following.• Layout of Windows servers, AIX Servers, Networking and SAN Equipment • Cable runs between racks• Power requirements and Power Distribution to the racks• Design and implementation of VMware Infrastructure for Datacenter• Duplication of design and build out for DR datacenter

Worked with a team of 8 other NT administrators in the maintenance of over 1000 NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 Servers. Systems were a mixture of HP Proliant and Dell Poweredge Hardware. Responsible for the migration of all HR/Finance NT servers from Reston, Virginia to Fishers, Indiana during the merger of Sallie Mae and USA Group. Played a significant role in our migration to Active Directory.Successfully Deployed VMware GSX in our test lab to allow multiple dev and test systems to reside on one box. Supported 40 VMware GSX servers running on Windows 2003 that contain over 300 development and test systems. Deployed VMware ESX into Production with 5 host servers running over 50 guests.

Responsible for designing and deploying Windows NT based networks for clients. Designed and implemented many large scale NT networks including: BAA Indianapolis, Lebanon School Corporation, New Castle School Corporation, Hamilton Southeastern Schools and Fabers Bee Windows. Installed SCO UNIX systems and fixed a multitude of NT, Win95 and Novell problems. Also worked on LAN and WAN design for many customers. Installed ISDN and T1 connectivity between sites using Cisco, Intel and Ascend equipment. Setup many web servers utilizing IIS 4.0 and implemented Internet connectivity to clients via MS Proxy server. Setup DNS and WINS servers across a WAN. Designed and implemented collaborative messaging systems using both MS Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000.

Initially hired as a configuration technician responsible for assembly of new computers, was quickly promoted to Network Technician. Specialized in Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT networks. Responsible for all NT installs and troubleshooting of new and existing networks.
