Wavetube AB is a Swedish developer of a unique patented solution that generates power from ocean waves. Wavetube's novel wave energy device is intrinsically designed for simplicity, reliability and durability. The device consists of a submerged, floating and entirely sealed hull that encloses all mechanical components. Hence, reducing the cost per kWh. The underlying idea behind Wavetube's solution is based on one of the most important difficulties in making energy harvesting technologies commercially viable, i.e. survivability.

I prepared management reports and assisted the CEO on a day-to-day basis. I assisted the finance department with general book keeping activities and accounting. I was also assigned to consult on the firm's subsidiary activities in Manila, Philippines. The objective was to assess causes of in-efficiency in their daily operations. I performed an evaluation of the current state performance through interviews and value stream mapping, and also acted as the facilitator of several root-cause analysis workshops.The evaluation lead to the identification of several sources of inefficiency. The project resulted in a process improvement plan that has been part of an organizational transformation.
