As the Director of Research and Innovation at E-Man Labs, I have been intimately involved throughout the tech development process – from the conception phase to product launch – of web & digital designs, smartphone applications, and wearable applications, among other cutting-edge products. I thrive in team-oriented environments made up of talented individuals who share my passion for creative thinking, problem-solving, and technology learning.When I started at E-Man Labs one of my first responsibilities was to work closely with the company’s founders in order to improve its internal operational processes. This isn’t something that can easily happen overnight. Constant review and assessment of several processes, tools and methodologies must always be present in order to maintain our position as a premier technology incubator and partner to early-stage startups. After only a few weeks of in-depth analysis, it was clear that significant operational improvements could be made in key areas in the effort to produce higher quality results while decreasing the time it took to create the products our clients needed. In the next couple of years, we created and implemented a solid four-phase process – Conceive, Create, Build, and Launch – which has been the cornerstone that has allowed E-Man Labs to grow to a globally recognised incubator of tech products for startups and entrepreneurs.
