I was invited to join Motek to transform it to a mobile application development studio. I recruited and hired the development team, led product and business development and managed all client relationships. We built our own applications generating $1 M M + revenue using freemium, try and buy and ad revenue models. We created a daily active user (DAU) base of 7 M M +. We pioneered mobile apps on Nokia series 30,40 and 60 phones (and later, Smartphones).We built productivity solutions for the SMB market including ExpenseLog, MileageTracker, Apollo Mail and Mobile Pro. We crafted the first mobile, multiplayer game platform called J2Play. J2Play was spun out as a separate company and was acquired by Electronic Arts forming the base of the EA Kitchener office.I led product development and strategy, business development and marketing efforts establishing partnerships with resellers, wireless carriers and app storefronts.Reported to the Board with P/L and CFO responsibilities.

Founded the company to develop web-based E-learning solutions.Building on my experience in coaching start-up companies, I built the first online training and coaching system for entrepreneurs and startups – The Enterprising Edge™. We later diversified into creating custom E-learning solution for Colleges and Universities and financial sector enterprises.In 2001, I sold to Java X to pursue opportunities in the mobile app space.

I joined the organization to bring business start-up coaching and training services to the organization. I established several award winning entrepreneurship programs including raising money for a community-based, local VC fund to finance start-ups. I grew the organization from 8 people to 55 people and from one location to four locations. Increased the operating budget from 600k to 6 MM. I left CODA to start the Eastbridge Group when it merged with Lutherwood.
