Lead university recruiter for US Army MCRP program targeting students of Minority Serving Institutes across the country.

Serving as University Recruiter taking prospects through the full life cycle for technical and non-technical roles. Heavily involved with a number of diversity events such as the TAPIA conference, AfroTech, West Coast Career Fair, Grace Hopper events and many more. Built relationships with HBCU target schools to spread information on the business and attract new talent.

As the Human Resource Manager of a start up restaurant near Austin, Texas, I was tasked with creating and serving as the Human Resource department. I was able to create the handbook, choose and implement the HRIS systems and crafted the recruiting, onboarding and training model. These models have been implemented into 2 more restaurants under the Industry umbrella and are still in use to this day. Head of Diversity and Inclusion team to acquire a diverse staff that gave opportunities to those who had no before. Completed a bevy of projects and used organizational and development skills to keep staff trained to their best abilities.

Served as main campus recruiter/sourcing associate for my store. Added over 200+ employees to store through 2-year span with company. Conducted onboarding and training for all new employees.Identified best practices and organizational efficiencies as well as coach and train team members to properly apply human resource policies and procedures within the store.

Built a robust network of top talent and gained market intelligence to assesses candidates and gauge talent alignment to add over 75 new personal trainers and 100+ customer service reps in district.Manage the onboarding process for new hires and transfers, including documentation preparation and issuance and completion of new hire documents including offer/transfer letters, completion of background checks and keeping the relevant HR teams informed of the progress.

Assisted with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the department at any given time. Conducted phone screens and maintained schedule for HR department.
