 Worked closely with maintenance and production employees to improve processes on the production floor. Initiated and implemented over fifty capital projects that were on schedule, within budget and delivered against their requirements. Successfully developed and managed a large-scale automated case picking system in the warehouse that delivered over $1 million in annual labour savings. Participated in contract negotiations with equipment suppliers to ensure the best products were purchased for the best price. Selected to train in Heinz’s Leadership Development and Lean Six Sigma programs at world Headquarters. Led or participated in over ten Kaizen Events and two “5S” events. Managed site-wide Hygienic Equipment Design Quality program.

 Managed over 100 unionized employees toward achieving warehousing initiatives in a fast-paced, JIT environment. Utilized SAP WMS to efficiently staff and assign work through the department. Led and participated in successful improvement projects. Ie. Laser Guided Vehicles.

 Guided team toward goals in re-engineering of resin inventory storage system. Mapped plant-wide inventory throughput using database and CAD software. Utilized MRP principles in redesigning material flow system to minimize total cost.

 Solid Modeling using high-end 3D-CAD software (Unigraphics NX). Worked as part of various, interdisciplinary teams in order to meet customer deadlines. Requisitioned materials and made detailed blueprints using GD&T principles.
