I was responsible for delegate sales (100% new business) across an expanding portfolio of brand new B2B conferences within the newly developed Business Events team. Sectors we cover include Sports, Finance, Government, Digital and Infrastructure. I was responsible for managing delegate attendance for most of EMAP's Construction and Engineering conference portfolio.The events I worked on were produced by industry leading titles such as The New Civil Engineer, Ground Engineering and Construction News and the market sectors that I specialised in were rail, aviation, ground engineering and water.I spent much of my time developing existing client relationships and acquiring new business in order to grow my events year on year and deliver the best solutions for my clients.I was solely responsible for delegate acquisition on the 2014 Construction News Summit. I grew delegate levels by 52% YOY and the event was shortlisted for 'Event of the Year' (Business Media) at the 2015 PPA Awards.I also contributed to a 40% increase in revenues across the brand YOY and was directly responsible for increasing delegate revenues YOY by 34%
