Single Source™ is the much anticipated “killer application” that the banking industry has desired. The Single Source™ banking application embodies the latest Microsoft .NET framework and operates using an Oracle® relational database providing a “real-time/right-time” banking system solution. This creative approach introduces to the financial marketplace a concept called “embedded systems”, where applications such as teller systems, imaging, platform, telephone banking and internet banking are part of one system. This concept will eliminate the need for separate ancillary systems thereby reducing overall cost and delivering a total holistic system that is easier to use, maintain and enhance.

As the comany's senior software engineer, I created our software architecture and infrastructure. I also worked with onsite and off-shore teams to communicate our architecture and programming guidelines, standards, and practices. Building the Web 2.0 AJAX style front end of BrightHub.com was my main focus, along with making sure the creation of proper back end building blocks to ensure rapid application development by our 2 SCRUM teams.

Responsible for technical direction and technology platforms for FlatBurger products. Engineered and implemented integration with .NET code encryption and protection. Offered Software as a Service platform to allow .NET developers to upload their .NET compiled code, public and private key encrypt their code, and enter they code into a market place for buying .NET sharepoint and DotNetNuke modules. A developer using the Flatburger service could choose multiple licensing models for their software. Try before you buy, monthly/yearly subscription, 1 time purchase. Usage counters were collected from the application and sent back to the flatburger "Developer Portal" for analysis by the software module developer.

- Responsible for the architecture, design, development, deployment, and support of AOL’s online classifieds marketplace http://classifieds.aol.com/. - Ensure that system could support millions of users with millions of hits per week.- Build a web service (SOA) to allow partner companies the ability to add and manage listing content within the classifieds marketplace.- Mentor team members.- Act as a liaison to other technical and support departments.- Give presentations to management on technology and architecture

Responsible for building companies flagship product that was later acquired by America Online. The product was built using C#.NET and MS SQL Server technologies. Hardware infrastructure consisted of 3 front end web servers, 2 application servers, 2 sql servers, 3 search servers, 1 specialized app server, 1 specialized sql server, and 2 front end web service servers. The system was built to be a world class classifieds system/auction site, architected similar to eBay's infrastructure (at the time). The web service servers could handle 60 transactions per second with 35 remote devices sending constant and burst traffic to the servers. All web servers in the farm were Virtual IP load balanced using Cisco equipment. I built a large majority of the site and backend application servers and web servers, and after the technology was sold to America Online, gave numerous presentation to AOL about building .NET applications specializing in Software as a Service solutions.

- Worked with company directors on corporate/product branding, vision, business planning, yearly goals, budgeting, and business relationships.- Recruited, hired and directed 16-member team responsible for systems analysis, database administration, windows product development, thin-client (web-enabled) product development, and software distribution technologies.- Managed development of leading edge client/server consumer lending, mortgage lending, document imaging system.- Provided product vision in evaluation & implementation of new technologies.- Directed staff on standards, techniques, planning, and scheduling.- Provided technology support to sales personnel during client presentations

- Supported systems utilized by 500+ users in a production manufacturing environment.- Designed, developed and implemented disaster recovery plans, system interconnectivity, software, operating systems, and network operating systems for platforms such as IBM AS400, Data General MV-Series, IBM RS6000, Digital VAX, IBM OS/2 and MS Windows NT.- Implemented back-end file and database servers that supported shop-floor production.- Wrote end-user tools for the windows operating system using visual programming language - Designed and developed GE’s SDR (Supplier Deviation Request) Imaging system widely used by GE Schenectady, NY and GE Greenville, SC. Functionality highlights: receive electronic faxes, index and store images in a WAN environment, workflow, fax-out, windows desktop image viewer.

- Managed all college computer software activities for college staff and faculty including; prospective students, administration, time sheets, student grading system, student transcripts.- Managed computer room operation; purchases, employee hiring/firing, software development.- Managed computer operation and student assistance for college programming classes (COBOL, RPG II, BASIC).- Worked with President of College to upgrade older Data General C150 super-mini to an MV4000 super-mini.Resulted in faster compile time for students, and incresed reporting capabilities for college staff.
