● Lead Mechanical Engineer on the development of a new electromagnetic telemetry system for directional wellbore drilling (a $1M project that was a cornerstone in a $100M business)● Invented and developed the industry leading gap sub which was acquired by Schlumberger and used extensively in their land based MWD business

● Modified the world’s largest vibrating screen using structural dynamics FEA, improving the reliability from months into years (saving well over $98M in production outages)● Used ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (Sect. VIII, Div. 2) to design an innovative internal patch for a large bitumen separation vessel, which had worn to unsafe limits.Shaved 7 weeks off a severe production outage (resulting in over $340M in savings).● Lead Engineer on a project to mitigate internal corrosion / erosion on the same vessel. Project was completed early and under budget, despite the addition of unplanned repairs.
