CurrentHold broad-based responsibilities and authority for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Policy and Planning Staff (PPS), Portfolio Management and Oversight (PM&O) unit, and serve as Team Lead of six personnel. Direct IT Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes. Develop Departmental IT budgets for strategic planning and implementing departmental strategic goals. Engage with Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Data Center Optimization (DCOI) teams to collaborate and share information across OCIO. Drive collection, analysis and reportage development for operational and strategic development maturing departmental IT Acquisition Review (ITAR) process, increasing total dollars evaluated and driving enhanced Category Management metrics. Also tasked with leading cross-staff development, execution and reporting on departmental response to the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) Integrated Data Collection (IDC). Conduct user acceptance testing, identify technical/procedural issues and gain insight into budgetary processes. Continually develop MS Power Query routines and Excel VBA macros for use in automating data validation/comparison. Develop unit administrative Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and considered leader, mentor and role-model for junior staff.Continually provide expertise in all aspects of IT budget process and lead team in achieving Department and OMB deadlines/requirements for IT Portfolio Summary (ITPS), previously Exhibit 53, and IT Portfolio Details (ITPD), previously known as Exhibit 300. Skillfully facilitate DOJ reporting process and have been designated to manage applications, eCPIC and Folio, including complete investment life-cycle processes. Continuously achieve data updating and currency with OMB ITPS and ITPD requirements, as outlined in OMB A-11 and A-130 guidance. Continually assure clarity of IT budget instructions and direct world-class team efforts in responding to assistance requests.
