As a Business Development Representative at Checkr, I generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team, using my skills in MEDDIC sales methodology, customer relationship management, and business relations. I joined Checkr in February 2023, and I am passionate about their mission to democratize fair and accurate background checks for the future of work. I have more than two years of experience in business development and sales in the technology sector, having worked at NetSuite, a leading cloud-based software company, for over a year before Checkr.I graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics in May 2020, where I was also a student-athlete and a leader of the men's hockey team. I balanced a full academic course load with more than 40 hours a week of games, practice, workouts, meetings, and video, and I was voted captain by my teammates for the 2019-2020 season and assistant captain for the 2018-2019 season. I was a two-time All-American, All-NESCAC, and recipient of the Wesleyan Ahrens Award and the Joe Concannon Award for my outstanding performance and dedication on and off the ice. I also walked on to become a valuable member and leader of the varsity golf team for four seasons.
