As a Management Assistant at Festival Hall in Pembroke, Ontario, I supported artists, performers, and presenters by assisting with backstage needs and technical setups for concerts, theatrical performances, municipal events, and political debates. I welcomed patrons, facilitated ticketing and seating, and ensured a positive guest experience. My role also included supporting hospitality services, maintaining venue cleanliness, and promoting events through social media management and community outreach. Collaborating with dedicated staff and volunteers, I contributed to successful event execution and venue operations, which, under the exceptional leadership of our Director, led to a remarkable milestone: the largest historical growth and flourishing of the arts sector that the Ottawa Valley has ever seen.Having been born in Pembroke and spent a significant part of my childhood there, I want to express my gratitude to all the patrons, volunteers, clients, staff members, and the Director of Festival Hall for their support in fostering my personal and professional growth during my time with the theatre. I will always cherish my experiences at Festival Hall and look forward to continuing to support the theatre by attending events whenever I return to Pembroke.
