Katy is the founder of What Katy Said, a lifestyle blog aimed at mothers who need support in finding themselves again. She began her career as a primary school teacher but when she became a mother she chose to stay home. Motherhood is lonely and after her second baby was born she found a whole new world in the form of blogging. Here she realised that motherhood didn't have to be so lonely, that whole communities were waiting to be explored. Over the next few years, Katy grew her blog to become one of the top 5 listed blogs in the parent niche, being nominated for awards in the industry for both her blog and her YouTube channel. Today, Katy writes for the blog, produces video content for both YouTube and IGTV as well as hosting a podcast that is breaking down the barriers in motherhood. What Katy Said and Decluttering Motherhood have been created to bring back community. With a growing Facebook Group, Katy is helping mothers to feel less along and give them tools to take back control of their life. What Katy Said was started in 2014 and since then has grown so quickly, rising up through TOTs rankings to now being at #4 out of 10k parenting blogs in the UK. Her social media following has grown from zero to over 50k across IG, YT, Twitter and FB.
