Provide insight and guidance to drive operational excellence across Lowe’s Omni-channel network. Deliver objective and financially focused insights to business leaders while playing a lead role in forecasting, planning, and executing against financial goals. While working cross functionally in the organization, partnering with senior leadership, to ensure efforts and execution of business objectives are met. Teamed with business partners to move transformation efforts from holistic strategy to tactical implementation, partnering along the way with analysis and insight, expense modeling and decision support, operational deployment, and subsequent measurement to key objectives.

Within this role I support the West Division through preparation and delivery of a daily WTD performance report for Region 12 of Lowes. I worked with our Bangalore team to produce a Field Ranking Dashboard in Microsoft Power Bi to provide better visibility to the stores on performance rankings across hierarchies and time slices. I also compile and consolidate plan amnesty requests across all geographies of Lowes. Additionally I provide ad hoc analysis across various regions of Lowes.

My role has me working various tasks including compiling monthly reports related to donation accruals as well compiling copies of journal entries for every month for various entities. I am also responsible for filing various forms with the IRS to meet IRS requirements related to payments received by Lowe’s at the storefront level. Aside from my main roles I have side projects working on updating the process of obtaining customer information in a more complete and secure fashion related to the IRS payments. Additionally I have taken over the role of reaching out and documenting Lowe’s COVID-19 donations to various hospitals to meet other IRS requirements.

In this role I interacted with the public involving the knowledge and usage of outdoor power equipment items such as riding mowers, push mowers, and zero turn mowers, weedeaters, chainsaws, and handheld blowers, and additionally grills, smokers, and patio furniture sets. Along side selling outdoor power equipment I helped drive Lowe's credit programs by pairing customers to the appropriate credit program, or lease to own program. The daily customer interaction was a heavy part of my job as well as maintaining stocked shelves and organized top stock, which was made more difficult with Lowes being named an essential business during the COVID-19 crisis.

(May 2020 - August 2020)Intern within the Credit Department supporting Lowes house credit programs along with 3rd party credit programs. The main focus of my internship was an analysis of banking partner, Synchrony Banks, Regional Credit Manager program. An analysis was done to determine if there was a correlated lift between RCM visitations and credit penetration within visited stores. My findings were presented to Credit program leadership as well as our Credit Partner Leadership and 3rd party leadership, I was able to take my findings and share recommendations I had based on the story the data was telling.

Worked closely with analytical and strategic management individuals within the consumer division of Anthem. Responsible for interpreting Individual and Small Group regulatory health insurance premium rate filings for various carriers and states. Output of work was critical for senior management to understand competitive positioning and inform strategic changes for the upcoming year. Required individual accountability and team coordination with other interns and business analysts. Daily work required critical thinking skills using imprecise and ambiguous sources of data. Exposed to the rate setting process used in the industry and extensive use of Microsoft Excel.
