Clinical Informatics Lead
CurrentClinical documentation is creation of a digital or analog record detailing the delivery of health services. We believe we can use clinical documentation to improve patient care. This is achieved by standardized evidence informed documentation providing the information necessary to improve health care delivery for Albertans. Our goal in identifying and using ‘smart’ clinical documentation standards is to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration, engage patients and families and optimize clinician workflows.• Responsible and accountable for the integration and adoption of standards, policy, procedures that are implemented in technology in clinical settings.• Provides leadership in the development, implementation and change management of clinical informatics projects, processes, programs and educational tools/resources.• Recommends the approach to take to for Clinical Informatics initiatives to CMIO leadership.
