I developed this role from a HD Mechanic to an Asset Inspector to meet the business requirements. This has involved; data entry, updating spreadsheets, communicating and liaising with customers/clients via emails, phone calls and in person to co-ordinate movement of products and equipment to and from Barrow Island.Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:• Sorting and prioritising of the $150,000-$200,000/Month of parts and consumables that are moving through Wattleup to Barrow Island• Generating, re-righting and reviewing JHA/JSA weekly• Review reverse logistics barges for logistics suppliers and third party provider items and liaise with supplier in order to return• Seized the initiative to revised and independently manage the air freight supply chain policy and process to ensure that high priority items to Barrow island in a timely fashion• Liaise with Receivables & Process regarding orders/ DG’s/ under supply/ over supply / missing paperwork/ incorrect purchase order on parts• Off and on hire HSE inspections, including photos , paperwork, defects, scanning and reporting to relevant authority• Management of a fleet of all types of Mobile Plant and fleet Management• Support daily Pre start’s and weekly Toolbox sessions up to 120 personnel• Contribute to Weekly Interface Meetings with Client and Sub Contractors• IT – Self taught Excel to track pre-start hours/ Service sheets in order to maintain compliance to scheduleQuarantine Coordinator Responsibilities:• Work to Class A Reserve Quarantine Standards under Chevron’s red tag training to freight items to Barrow Is.• Ensure Quarantine Parameters are upheld in line with Government Legislation• Process inspect and palletize all goods in preparation for Barrow Island

Responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of customer vehicles working out of VGA’s workshop/dealership in Townsville, QLD. Various tasks included servicing of Volvo and Mack brand prime movers from early models through to late models.Core HD Mechanic Responsibilities:• Using VCAD`s (Volvo Computer program) to diagnose and service Volvo prime mover`s• Diffs and suspension: Replacing diff centres, replacing suspension bushes and springs, using laser levels to set wheel alignment which coincided with the driveline angles• Engine Work: Top end tuning on both brands, parts replacement such as water pumps, fan hub and pulley assemblies, turbochargers• Transmission: Clutch and gearbox replacement mainly on Mack prime movers running Eaton Roadranger boxes• Drivelines: Parts replacement such as uni`s, centre bearings and setting driveline angles to specAdditional Responsibilities:• Teaching apprentices various parts and ways of the trade as well as working both independently and as a team• Nominated by the team as their safety representative which included meeting once a month to raise and resolve various safety issues throughout the workshop

I was responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of Concrete Agitators from BGC, Boral and Hanson Fleets. The position required I worked both independently and as a team member. I also worked Saturdays and early morning starts when required.• Duties included servicing, tuning engines, fitting of concrete chutes, rebuilding of hydraulic rams, removing and fitting axles, brake relines, wheel bearing replacements and adjustments, clutch and gearbox replacements• Various welding and fabricating tasks operating MIG or Stick Welders• This work was also extended to light vehicles, 4WDS, Prime Movers, Forklifts, Trailers, Loaders and Dozers with some minor auto electrical work as required• Hose Doctor - measuring, crimping and fitting hydraulic hoses using mainly JIC and BSP fittings

Working on Mitchell West Fleet of Western Star and Kenworth Prime Movers and Three Trailer Combos. I was responsible for service, repair and maintenance of the Prime Movers and Side Tipping Trailers and Dollys. This was a FIFO 2/1 roster based at Cue, but I often worked a much longer roster of up to 5 weeks on and 1 off.• Duties included scheduled servicing, top end tuning, parts replacing on air brake systems, relining brakes on both disc and drum set ups• Using caterpillars ET systems for engine diagnostics, minor training in diagnosing LNG systems and was required to do most of the auto electrical work as there was no onsite auto electricians this extended to boiler making and welding duties. Also similar work was carried on their Front End Loaders and Light Vehicle • Offsite breakdown work both independently and with other team members
