I work with oil, acrylic, pastel, water colour, charcoal and plain fabric. The idea is to provide myself with a background of perception and ideas. I am currently working on ‘Splashism;’ the use of splashes in painting, expressionism and naturalistic rendition.I diversified into the use of factory waste (fabric) to depict picture a variety of compositions, addressing cultural, religious, environmental and expressionistic themes. Particularly concerning the environment. The exhibition titled “Transition” is a testimony to the personal efforts to contribute to the reduction pf waste through creative exploration. It has become necessary to maintain a healthy environment and the exploration of discarded plain fabrics is one of the several ways of managing industrial waste in order to avoid toxic effect on nature and man. My artworks are in landscapes, figures, still lives, murals and abstracts, all done with the aim of self-expression and reduction of waste.
